WELCOMING FEBRUARY…
THE BORDER BETWEEN WINTER & SPRING
After December’s record-breaking storm, January’s plentiful sunshine has been welcomed and much needed for our region to recover from the damage and disruption. County staff and our partners continue to pursue funding and programs to help us with clean-up in those areas that experienced such tremendous damage. I am also supporting providing additional funding to augment the chipping program as quickly as possible. Stay posted for upcoming announcements on our efforts.
In the last two weeks I was pleased to join the installation dinners for both the Auburn Chamber of Commerce and the Highway 49 Business Association. Our locally owned businesses are the heart and soul of our communities. Their dedicated owners and staff go above and beyond to serve their customers and to volunteer for special events and activities to increase the vitality of our communities.
Congratulations to the incoming Board Members and the outstanding award recipients, and thanks for your volunteer service!
